AutoCAD is one of the important drafting tool for almost all the Engineers and especially CIVIL ENGINEERS and Architecs and other Engineers as well. And knowledge of AutoCAD in today's generation is a must. It has lots of uses and and will need it throughout any Engineers life. AutoCAD has so many commands which is available in AutoCAD menu and to make your drawing faster and to have to enjoyable drawing, it is important to know some of the important Shortcut-keys or command to make your drawing faster. So, here is some of the important shortcut commands as follows:
L = It can be used for drawing simple lines.
C = This command is used for making a circle.
PL = It is a command for drawing a polylines
REC = This command can be used for drawing a rectangle in Auto-CAD.
POL = This command can be used to make a polygon like pentagon, hexagon, octagon and so on.
ARC = As the name suggests, this command can be used to make an arc in Auto-CAD.
ELLIPSE = this command can be used to make an ellipse with the major and minor
axis.

REG = This command can be used to make a region geometry in AutoCAD to connect and make a single object.
CO = This is a command which is used to copy object(s) in AutoCAD.
ARRAY = Using this command you can make Rectangular, polar or Path array.
TR = This is a command for trimming an object(s) for cutting unnecessary parts of a drawing.
OP = With this command you can open options window which contains the settings of
AutoCAD screen and some tools option, drafting tooltips, to turn on and off some important setting

SC = It is a command which is used to change the scale of an object to a required scale.
B = This command is used for creating a block.
I = This command can be used to insert an existing block or a drawing as a block in AutoCAD.
ST = With this command you can open text style window for changing text style.
X = It is a command which can be used to explode objects like Polyline to simple lines, an array or a block
to a simple geometry etc.

F = This is a fillet command whic is can be used to add rounded corners to the sharp edges of the geometry, these
round corners are also called fillets and has some other useful uses of fillet command.
CHA = This is a chamfer command that you can use to add slant edges to the sharp corners of an objects like rectangle edge, square edge etc, these slant edges are also
called chamfers.
LA = This command can be used to open layer properties manage palette which is a tool for creating
and managing layers in a drawing. This is an important command for managing layers and it aids you in managing a drawing in 3D drawing.
